A bit about me – I have been travelling around with my family. Not the backpacking experience you might expect from a person when they say they are travelling but more the moving from one home to another home kind of movement.
Having lived in various towns and cities across Scotland and finding ourselves in Berlin, Germany for a brief year, we made the decision to move back to Scotland and settle (for a while at least) in the Bonnie Scottish Borders, my hearts home.
My husband and I met in Art School many moons ago. Now we have two boys, a dog and two cats. We love finding adventure in everything we do, wether its climbing mountains, paddling in the sea or staying home tinkering in DIY.
I am so grateful for the choice to be a full time mum to my boys. Many woman in history have fought for that choice and I am glad it is one I can make. Being a family of 4 on one income in todays society is not easy. We have developed our own unique little system which allows us some freedom to the limitations many view living on a shoestring budget imposes.
This blog is a way for me to keep my family and friends up to date with our adventures and develop any skills I may or may not have in photography.
I have always and will always photograph. It is something I have always done since getting my very first SLR at the tender age of 14. Then I photographed pets and flowers, now my subject matter has moved onto my children in parks and generally our day to day. Perhaps someday I will show you my first SLR photos but for now kick back and enjoy seeing what Adventures we have on a shoestring.
